About Us

     Helina and Naomi were both born in Ethiopia and spent their childhood years growing up in the Bole District of Addis Ababa. Their father Berhanu, worked for Ethiopian Airlines as a Avionics Mechanic and he often took the girls on flights with him. As a result, at an early age, they were able to see Africa, Europe and the United States. Berhanu developed in them a passion for Air Travel and the Airline Industry.

     In time, their family relocated to Seattle, Washington (USA), and they began to pursue their own careers in the Airline Industry. Helina and Noami both attended the International Air Acadamy in Vancouver, Washington. After obtaining their Certifications, they received offers to be employed by The United Airlines Office in Seattle.

     Helina then went on to be a Corporate Travel Specialist for American Express. She was assigned to the Microsoft Corporation Account to arrange International Itineraries for the Senior Executives.

     At the same time Naomi, went on to Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Likewise, she specialized in International Travel Arrangements for some of the Worlds Largest Corporations, including 3M and Boeing.

     Having obtained such a vast collective level of experience, in 2010, they started Travel d' Afrique.

     Their goal was to offer the highest level of service and value to those interested in traveling to African and European Destinations. Their agency would offer a "First Class" standard of service to ALL their customers. In just a few years, Travel d' Afrique has become the Premier Agency for those traveling to Ethiopia and other African and European Destinations.
